Okay Girls!
Got your Java ready? Let's talk! I recently spent an evening at our church's District assembly. I heard the words of our District Pastor as he pleaded with the church to make some vital changes. His words were eloquent and heartfelt. As the tears rolled down his cheeks and he began to explain that we (as a church body) needed to be proactive and not reactive in the way that we minister to the world.
     Jesus was the most proactive person there ever was. Every minute of every hour he thought of not himself, but all those he was about to give his life for. The beauty of it all is that he continues to think of us every minute of every hour, hoping that we will come to a point of surrendering our lives to him.
     So as I sat there and continued to listen to our Pastor, I thought of how far Christ has brought me. The changes he has lead me through and how differently I look at things. Twenty years ago I would have never dreamed I would be sitting in an assembly filled with other believers and praising God! But at the same time realizing I could be more proactive in the way that I see others in my world. The store clerk, the people I work with, so many that just need to hear how much God loves them.
    What about you my friend? Are you ready to be proactive? I will leave you with the words of my Pastor: "I dare you! I double dare you!"
